Bio

I'm a photojournalism major contributing from Syracuse University. As far as photography goes my main interests are in alternative storytelling and multimedia--I like to kinda live somewhere in between pure journalism and pure illustration. I've been shooting since I could hold a camera because my dad is a photographer too. This summer I'll be interning at The Washington Post's website, washingtonpost.com, in the photo/multimedia area. Outside of photo, I love to be outside. I bike several miles daily, and usually longboard to class. I whitewater kayak, rock climb, hike, sail, and I used to be sponsored for snowboarding. I also draw and paint and play guitar poorly. I'm a terrible singer and dancer but I love to do both, especially in the shower.

2nd Annual Undie Run at SU

A large group gathered outside the dome, organized by a facebook event and word of mouth.

The intrepid runners pass Hendricks Chapel and make for the Quad. . .

Halfway done, the cries of joy coould not be contained.

Through Bird LIbrary and on to Marshall Street!

Debauchery on SU's Euclid Ave

Students on the 500 block of Euclid set up a gladiator fight and barbequeing as part of the unofficial Mayfest activities.

A three-story beer bong was erected on the 300 block of Euclid ave.

Even SU's Student Association (SA) president Marlene Goldenberg (right) joined the fun, having a noodle fight on the 300 block of Euclid.

Jess Wiley and a friend blow bubbles on Euclid Ave. during the unofficial block party.

At the end of the day, the crowds died down as students went to see Fergie perform in the Carrier Dome.

Syracuse students jam to local band Sophistafunk at Mayfest, an annual campus celebration. The group played a house party during the day before opening for Fergie at the SU's "Block Party" concert that night.... MORE »

Moonbounce at Mayfest

Partygoers bounce and play in a rented moonbounce on Euclid avenue. (600 block of Euclid.)
SU's Mayfest is an annual celebration on campus where students give presentations and is meant to encourage the school to mix with the surrounding town.
