The Dean of Students, Kenneth Elmore, wants the Boston University students body to know "what's hip, hot, and happening." Aside from the grand cheesiness of Elmore's page, this "Go Green" with the Red Sox opportunity isn't half bad.
The "BU Red Sox Green Team" puts student in Fenway Park to clean up the stadium, while games are in session. The program is partnered with Poland Spring to boost the recycling effort at Fenway. Students who choose to participate, walk up and down the aisle picking up recyclable items. The students work up until the eight inning, then they get the ninth inning to kick back and enjoy the game.
