Blog Spam Informs Me Bow Wow is Coming to SigEp Today

I find it moderately amusing whenever someone tries to spam OTR for their own purposes. This usually happens when someone sends me a tip and I either forget about it or think it’s lame, so they take matters into their own hands and write a post themselves.

So I today I logged onto OTR and found this little announcement that “Sources have confirmed” that MURS and Bow Wow are going to be at SigEp today for some reason. And now that I see Microsoft is also going to be there to give away $10,000 in conjunction with Rock the Vote, it’s all starting to add up.

As much praise as I’ve given SigEp in the past (and for the amount of shit I took for it) I really do have to say that 98% of this kind of stuff that happens at SigEp is clearly because they happen to be the frat that’s next to the Union, meaning everyone from South and West quad has to walk by there every day. I can really see an event like this being hosted on a Wednesday at SAE, because of both its distance and the fact they would roast and eat Lil Bow Wow when he showed up. I’m not implying SAE is racist, just cannibals.

So head over to SigEp today because you know you have to anyways when you’re walking to class, and try to win $10,000 from Microsoft. Not exactly sure how that contest is going to work. Maybe you have to win a rap battle against Bow Wow or see if you can get a bid from the most brothers at SigEp.

On a side note, who the hell is MURS?

I can shed some light into what happened today. MURS and Bow Wow were both set to come to SigEp until this morning when i was informed that MURS was suffering from from a serious kidney infection and had been rushed to the hospital last night. Bow Wow canceled on us this his morning as well sighting an emergency with his label causing him to drop off of the Rock the Vote Bus Tour who was co-sponsoring the event with Microsoft. Actually, I bet Sig Ep was one of the reasons for this not going through. It wouldn't take long for a person on campus to realize Sig Ep has no rep, most other houses hate them and think they are lame, and they can't pull people to events worth shit. No matter how good the location, Sig Ep is a terrible choice for good event turn out, so rather then hurt their reputation, they quit.
