We know you’re all out of school, but we’re going to attempt to keep you abreast on NU news this summer with a new feature. Similar to Fresh Cream, Ripe Produce will feature local Northwestern news that’s “ripe for the reading.” Here are six summer stories you must know.

* NU fertility researcher Teresa Woodruff just got $6.5 million to help aging women get preggers.
* Sophomore softball pitcher Lauren Delaney hurled three complete-game shutouts to guide the Wildcats to the Big Ten tournament title.
* Want your boyfriend to open up and share? Assistant communications professor Eszter Hargittai says get your man a broadband connection.
