Sports stars are known for their athletic prowess, not for their skillful marriage skills. As such, it seems we are constantly reading about who has put his bat where it doesn't belong. But most of the time, it's all about the athlete. At OTR, we're taking a time out to talk about the girls.

Check out these infamous mistresses and which sports guy they've scored with:

• Mindy McCready met Rogers Clemens as a teenager and reportedly carried on an affair with him for a decade. The ending is unclear, however, as country singer McCrazy provides schizophrenic descriptions of their relationship.

• It's not bad enough that Shaquille O'Neal had a secret affair with Alexis Miller, now he's supposedly stalking her too. Miller, an Atlanta hip hop artist known as Maryjane, claims after she broke things off Shaq sent her emails and phone calls threatening to ruin her career though she has since withdrawn her request for a permanent restraining order.

• A-Rod probably got beyond third base when he began an affair with Madonna characterized by “late-night visits” according to US Weekly.

• Former Laker girl Vanessa Curry may not be Kobe Bryant's first adventure into adultery, but she is his most recent… that is if the rumors are true. But come on, she has the same name as his wife so maybe it was all just an innocent mix-up for Bryant.

• Kimberly Bell claimed that she and Barry Bonds had such an, um, bond that they carried on an affair for nine years. After the relationship soured, Bell testified about Bonds’ drug use when he went on trial and posed for Playboy.

• Spanish born model Rebecca Loos got her start as a personal assistant to David Beckham, but before long she was personally assisting the futbol player with his loneliness while Posh was working on her music career. However, ever the spinmaster, Victoria Beckham has said that her husband's four month affair actually made their marriage stronger.

• Dodger Dugout anchor and former Miss Texas Carolyn Hughes was suspended once rumors began surfacing of her affair with pitcher Derek Lowe, who soon after divorced his wife. The affair proved to be more than she could dig herself out of without a tarnished reputation.

• Martin Brodeur won the Stanley Cup three times while playing for the New Jersey Devils but lost the X-factory after wife Melanie Dubois divorced him for cheating on her with his ex-sister-in-law, Genevieve Nault.
