* Forget guys with big sticks (pun intended) and check out luscious lady lacrosse players. Northwestern (19-1) returns to the NCAA Championship semifinals for the fourth-straight season. The Wildcats take on fifth-seeded Syracuse (18-2) tonight at 5 p.m. CT at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, Md. The winner of the game advances to the championships on Sunday (6 p.m. CT) to face either Penn or Duke. If you’re not leaving the confines of cool air conditioning catch both games live on CBS College Sports Network.

FYI: Gillette Stadium is almost completely sold out for the men’s championship games, so buy your tickets soon or hit up one of the many scalpers loitering around Boston this weekend.

* On Saturday celebrate World Schizophrenia Awareness Day by visiting Princeton or MIT. Nobel Prize-winning economist John Nash taught math at both schools while publically battling the mental illness. Better yet, do your friends and family a favor by popping into the PRIME Clinic at UNC Chapel Hill. They’ll screen you for basic symptoms, then ship you out to the appropriate treatment center.

* If you couldn’t get enough of Chorus Girls Gone Wild check out Northwestern’s School of Music on the stage of Millennium Park’s Jay Pritzker Pavilion this Saturday. Three separate ensembles will be featured, conducted by members of the School of Music faculty.

* Remember the high school chick in Texas who was kicked out of her prom for that racy gold dress? Isn’t everyone looking for a little redemption? Shake up your fantasies Saturday evening at The Arizona Fetish Prom in Scottsdale. Street clothes are expressly forbidden at this 6-hour evening of leather whips and chains. Get details here

* Ivy League commencement celebrations are happening all weekend and famous/wealthy/brilliant bodies abound. Oprah’s fav poet Maya Angelou is the convocation speaker at Cornell on Saturday, May 24 at noon, with a speech to follow by Senior Class President Vincent Hartman. On Sunday haul booty down to Connecticut to hear former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s speech at Yale at 2pm.

* Finally, honor our troops and the unofficial start of summer with one of these Memorial Day celebrations.

p.s. to single ladies in waiting: It’s Fleet Week in NYC. There’s nothing like riding a man who’s been away at sea.

Know about a kick-a$s event we’ve should mention? You and pals headed off to something ridiculous in the coming weeks? Let us know and we’ll feature it on next week’s Off-Campus Crusades.
