IU Students Get First Listen of New Lupe Fiasco Track, "New Sh-t"

This weekend, IU students who turned out for Lupe Fiasco’s concert got an unexpected surprise. The artist, who recently has said he’s quitting the music biz after his last album, the appropriately titled “LupEND” drops next year, debuted one of his new songs, the also apporiately titled ”New Shit.” Check out the video above. Half of it is him hyping up the song and album, and the actual track is under two minutes as Lupe proclaims it “a work in progress.” It’s pretty decent, but hopefully it gets better in the studio.

Is Lupe really done after this? I only started hearing about him maybe a year or two ago. It seemed like he was just getting started.
