Who says crime doesn't pay? Look at all that Busch Light! Where's the Vladdy?

The Collegian and CDT are both reporting that Penn State freshman Camron Carra (like Cam'ron?) was arraigned yesterday on charges related to 12 burglaries in unlocked Stuart Hall residences this semester. Police say that Carra, Brendan Cheesebrough (seriously? real name?) and Kevin Guizzetti stole $7,369 worth of cash and prizes from the first thru sixth floor of Stuart Hall. They must have had a fear of heights though, cause floors seven and eight got away clean.

So, how do three students come up with a plan to go on a dorm room stealing spree? Well like any good idea, after a night of drinking Vladimir Vodka, smoking pot and snorting Adderall.

According to the CDT, after the Vlad/pot/Adderall bender, the trio accidentally walked into the wrong room in Stuart Hall at about 4am on Oct. 7 and realized that apparently everyone in that dorm leaves their doors unlocked. So, they devised a plan that Danny Ocean would be proud of.

"One of the men told police Carra stayed in the room to “appraise” the items, while another served as the “lookout,” standing next to the doors of the rooms the third man entered, according to the complaint.  Carra told police he tried to reformat the laptops and iPods while the other two were out to erase evidence."

So, Carra is facing 12 felony counts of burglary and criminal trespass, criminal conspiracy, theft and receiving stolen property charges along with drug-related charges for pot and "drug paraphernalia" that police found in his room when the questioned him. Basically he's screwed, especially since he's not on the football team.

Police expect to also charge Cheesebrough and Guizzetti within a week. Nice work guys. Success with Honor!
