They’re rich and famous now but the fame and fortune didn’t come easy. Before they got their big breaks, many celebrities were just like us, working odd jobs to support themselves. Here is a list of current Hollywood hotshots and their first jobs.

* Billionaire Donald Trump collected soda bottles for deposit money.

* Funnyman Jim Carrey worked as a security guard and a janitor.

 
* Rapper 50 Cent was a drug dealer.

* Danny Devito wanted to pursue a career in cosmetology at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York before he became an actor.

 
* Jennifer Lopez worked in a law office to earn money for her singing and dance lessons.

 
* As a struggling actor, Brad Pitt once donned a chicken suit and stood outside a fried chicken joint to attract customers.
