Tea Green Leaf: third spring fling band, or dyslexic kid ordering lunch at oxfam?
So, the third and final spring fling band is.....Tea Green Leaf? I, for one, have never heard of them, but I am curious what other people think. Is anyone excited, or does this just mean we have more time to drink before Common shows up?

there's a reason why you haven't heard of them: they're shitty

my roommate listens to their shit and it sounds like ****ing country music.

such an utter disappointment that they're coming, dammit.

I know, I had to double check before I posted that, because I couldn't remember the order. At least Common and Dropkick will rock Posted 04/17/2008 11:05 AMReply

pretty generic sound. disappointing job by concert board this year. they have all year to prepare and this is what we get? overpaying for dropkick (who will rock out) and this random band. common should be good, but this is nowhere near last year's lineup.

has anybody heard anything about the side stage band this year or are we not even going to have one? it was pretty exciting to have oxford collapse last year and the hold steady the year before.

No school in Boston is ever going to get Dropkick for what they're cited at. Posted 04/20/2008 9:38 PMReply

@ Anonymous: Well, we got them, which is why Tea Leaf Green is opening for us. They blew all our money on a mediocre hometown favorite. Posted 04/21/2008 2:53 PMReply

I'll admit to enjoying "Spicy McHaggis." That's all. Posted 04/21/2008 2:54 PMReply

@ Anonymous: Tea Leaf is an original band that doesn't care if their big or not, they make good music. Check them out live like I did before you put them down. Taught to be proud is a good track. Posted 08/29/2008 4:30 PMReply
