UGA: Protecting Your Sex Life in 2008

UGA: Protecting Your Sex Life in 2008

It turns out college guys aren’t the only ones that don’t want their girlfriend’s to get knocked up; apparently UGA doesn’t either. Trojan’s “Sexual Health Report Card” was released, and it ranked UGA an impressive 9th out of 139 colleges and universities studied.

But before you pat yourself on the back (or anywhere else), let me clarify: it wasn’t necessarily the students that were practicing good sexual health. The study only looks at the quality and availability of sexual health information/resources from the university. So this means that UGA provides some of the best sexual health resources around. Make sure you take advantage of it.

For those of you that don’t know, the University Health Center provides free condoms and anonymous STD testing (including HIV). In this economy, I will take anything for free. Plus it’s hard enough to walk around our huge-ass campus with a book bag, let alone doing it 8 months pregnant. In fact, that idea alone may be a good enough birth control.
