And we thought she was old news. But oh no, Sarah Palin steals the spotlight once again as she pardoned a Thanksgiving Turkey yesterday at Triple D Farm & Hatchery near Wasilla, Al. Unfortunately after her pardon, not all of our feathery friends were saved. While being interviewed, a Turkey is slaughtered behind a seeminlgy oblivious Palin. Warning: not for the squeamish.

Video: Oh, and Also, Lollapalooza Happened?

Yes. Lollapalooza happened this past weekend in Grant Park, apparently. I think I only know like three people who went, so that video is the only exciting thing that happened that I know of. But apparently Lollapalooza was the last public appearance Amy Winehouse made before going on a three-day bender as soon as she got back to England that landed her in--get this--rehab. Hahahaha.
